[First Event] A Regional Revitalization Initiative Involving Local Governments, Local Companies, Professional Sports Teams, and Overseas Investors

Sphere Tokyo Law Firm (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Attorney: Koichi Kobori; hereinafter referred to as “the Firm”) hosted the “Oita Trinita & Sphere Tokyo Law Firm Taichung–Oita Business Tour” (hereinafter “the Event”) in Oita Prefecture from Thursday, May 29 to Sunday, June 1, 2025. On Friday, May 30, the Firm paid a courtesy visit to Oita Vice Governor Ryutaro Kuwata.

Background of the Visit to the Oita Prefectural Government

This event was organized by the firm in collaboration with the professional soccer team Oita Trinita, with the aim of promoting regional revitalization. It sought to connect Oita Prefecture and its local businesses with overseas investors and entrepreneurs, facilitating the expansion of international business opportunities.

In addition to the courtesy visit to Oita Vice Governor Ryutaro Kuwata, the event included visits to several companies within Oita Prefecture. During the event, some Taichung-based participants entered into contract negotiations with local businesses, making it a highly productive initiative.

Sphere Tokyo Law Firm and Oita Trinita will continue to follow up on this event, including a planned return visit to Taichung City to further engage with participants and assess their interest in business and investment opportunities.
