This channel offers an inside look at his multifaceted activities—not only as a lawyer, but also as an investor and business leader—showcasing a unique path that transcends traditional legal roles.

Background and Vision

SPHERE Law Firm Tokyo (Head Office: Minato City, Tokyo; Representative Attorney: Koichi Kobori) was established just over two and a half years ago. In 2024, it experienced rapid growth by integrating Ryukyu Law Office (now SPHERE Ryukyu) and Chouen Law Office (now its Taipei Office) into its network.

Roughly 60% of clients are international companies and 40% are domestic. As a firm focused on cross-border legal work, SPHERE also engages in broader ventures—including investment management and regional revitalization projects connecting local governments, companies, sports teams, and foreign investors.

Attorney Kobori believes that legal services alone are not enough to meet modern client needs. By acting early and thinking broadly, lawyers can make more meaningful contributions to both clients and society.
